I like it. It creates a visual separation between email and notes. And it makes things just a little bit more casual. There I said it.

I like Marker Felt
Yes I admit it. There seems to be a certain kind of design snobbery that has reared its' head loudly against Marker Felt, a common Apple font used in Notes. To this cohort, it's ugly. Being forced to stare at it day after day is an assault on the senses.

Font Joy – Siruca
This unique stencil font is being used in the Al Hamra business complex in Kuwait. I haven't seen a stencil font so contemporary. It was designed by Fabrizio Schiavi. I really like it.

Font Joy - Hachura
It's been a while since I've posted a font. I really like this one, Hachura. I love that it looks hand drawn while still hewing to traditional letterforms. Quite handsome.

Font joy - Love Font
Haven't posted a font in a looooong time. This one caught my eye. I like the combination of retro and futuristic, which is quite an accomplishment.

Font joy - Hair and Aging
I can't read it but this Chinese font is beautiful. The strokes appear to be rendered with strands of hair.

Fontjoy - Feijoa
Really nice book font Feijoa. Check the link below for a sample page. The italic ligatures are wonderful; I haven't seen a g/i ligature in a while.

Font joy - Meta Serif
I love fonts. I don't know why. It started with the advent of desktop publishing so many years ago and that love of serifs and sans serifs never went away. I stumbled upon a very cool font blog that has become part of my daily reading. Most of the fonts showcased are great for a sign or headlines but little else. This book font called Meta Serif is gorgeous. Reminds me of the font that Monocle uses and I wouldn't be surprised if it was one and the same.
