Next in the "restaurants and bars I've been spending too much time in" series.

A stylistic representation of 'Ten Degrees' on St. Marks and Ave A in the East Village. Great place run by a guy name Moti from Puerto Rico. I've never been to PR but if this bar is anything like the island, I need to go.

Awesome new camera

I've found my camera, the new Canon T1i. I had purchased (and returned) a Canon XSi, which is a great camera but I really wanted to have something that integrated great quality still pictures and great quality video. This new Canon does that. Can't wait for it to hit the market in April. I'll be first in line.

iPhone camera

It's quite popular to bag on the iPhone camera, particularly its' mere 2MP resolution. But I've taken a number of pictures in the last few months using the camera and very rarely are the results less than spectacular. I think one thing the iPhone camera does very well is color fidelity. And with the new applications being released that unlock different capabilities, it's becoming quite a sophisticated imaging tool.
